The Golden Balls player of the month award for the month of March 2005 goes to third XI hot shot Ashley Postance. During this month the makeshift striker banged in four goals in three games including two goals in the 3-2 Minor Cup semi final win against Walsall Phoenix. His performances have been of top standard in all of these games. On top of this, in his sideline role playing Minty in Eastenders, he has managed to shack up with the delectable Sam Mitchell. Great work Minty, keep it up. |

The winner of the Kermit's Muppet of the Month award for the month of March 2005 is new comer to the club Richard Cooper. Although Coops only joined the club recently, he still managed to supply two great news stories during this month, firstly asking for the phone number of a taxi company and getting the number of Chris Tranter's parents, then failing to find the BBGR ground for his debut for the second XI. Great stuff Coops, this cricket season is sure to be a good one if you keep up this form. |

The Jack Attack manager of the month award for the month of March 2005 goes to first XI manager Pete Tipton. During this month Pete led the first XI to four victories and a draw, conceding just one goal in those five games. One of those wins saw the first XI progress to the Senior Cup final for the third consecutive year and the other games helped his team to go ten points clear at the top of the table. Good work Pete and long may it continue. |
