The Golden Balls player of the month award for the month of April 2005 goes to second XI front runner Luke Oliver.  Although he didn't score a goal during this month, he really has started to put in some consistently good performances.  Young Luke possesses bags of talent and his movement off the ball is second to none.  Hopefully he can now push on and make an impression on the first XI next season because he definitely has the ability to do it.  Keep up the good work Luke and you will be rewarded.

The winner of the Kermit's Muppet of the Month award for the month of April 2005 has got to be first XI manager Pete Tipton.  Pete is famed for his intensity on the side lines.  He challenges for, kicks and heads every ball while watching his team play but took it a bit too far during the recent away game against CPA Smethwick.  After watching one of his players miss the teams tenth good chance of the game, Pete took a wild kick at the floor but unfortunately missed it and ended up flat on his back.  Good work Pete.

The Jack Attack manager of the month award for the month of April 2005 goes to the third XI management team of Dave Griffiths and Phil Gardner.  Although they didn't boast the best record during this month, the work they have done to transform the third XI from their early season state of having a base of just three regular players, into the team they are now is nothing short of phenomenal.  The icing on the cake came when they bought the Minor Cup back to the club for the first time in twenty-five years.  Well done Dave and Phil.
