The fifth XI suffered a major crisis before this away game against Bio Care had even started due to the failure of the 'Dudley Posse' to turn up because of a breakdown in communication.
This left Wulfs with only nine players so manager Chris Jones was forced to come out of his retirement. The eleven was made up by press-ganging Todd Lisowski into playing. He had only come to watch but, despite claiming he could not play football, turned in a creditable performance.
Despite the eventual 1-6 score line, it did not reflect the effort that Wulfs put into the game. They held the score to 1-3 until the last ten minutes of the game but then collapsed, conceding three bad goals. As has been said on many occasions this season, concentration must last for ninety minutes.
The best moment of the game came when Gordon Brown twisted and turned past one of the opposition defenders. Another one of his team mates shouted "You've just been beaten by Old Father Time!" It is moments like this that keep the boys going in what has turned out to be a very frustrating season.
Final score: Bio Care 6 Old Wulfrunians 1.
